Privacy Policy

Pipet Games ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Gate Merge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Gate Merge does not ask for an app-specific name, email address, phone number, password, precise location, contacts, photos, or files. To operate and improve the App, we and our service providers process technical and usage information such as device model, operating system and app version, app interactions, session and gameplay events, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data.

If you use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, we receive a platform-generated player identifier, your game-service display name, and leaderboard information. We use Firebase Authentication to map that platform identity to an App user ID. Game progress, settings, achievements, daily-puzzle results, token balances, and reward history may be stored in Firebase Firestore under that ID.

2. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive transaction and entitlement confirmation needed to deliver token packs or ad-removal benefits, but we do not receive or store your full payment-card number or billing credentials.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect and process data:

  • Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Firestore (Google) — Analytics, crash reporting, platform-linked identity, game data storage. Privacy Policy
  • Appodeal and mediated advertising partners — Appodeal is our advertising mediation platform. Depending on platform, region, consent choices, account approval, and available inventory, Appodeal may request ads from partners such as BidMachine, Google AdMob, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle). These services may process advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, device and network information, ad and app interactions, diagnostics, and performance information to provide, personalize, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising. 4. Advertising

Gate Merge is free to play and supported by interstitial and optional rewarded ads delivered through Appodeal's mediation platform. The "Remove Ads" purchase removes automatic interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads remain available when you choose to watch one for an in-game benefit. A reward is granted only after the advertising SDK reports that the rewarded ad was completed. Advertising availability and personalization can vary by platform, region, consent choice, age setting, and inventory.

Appodeal and the advertising partner serving an ad may process advertising identifiers, IP address and IP-derived approximate location, device model, operating-system and app version, network information, ad impressions, clicks and video interactions, diagnostics, and technical performance data. We do not grant the advertising SDK permission to access precise device location on Android. The providers use this information to deliver and measure ads, perform analytics, limit repeated ads, detect fraud, and, when permitted, personalize advertising.

Where required, Gate Merge requests choices through Appodeal Stack Consent Manager before initializing advertising. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency system prompt is requested only after this consent step; denying tracking permission does not prevent contextual advertising. Settings shows a Privacy Choices entry when the consent manager reports that choices or an opt-out entry point are required. You may use it to review consent in the EEA/UK or exercise applicable US-state opt-out choices.

5. How We Use and Protect Information

We use information to provide gameplay and cloud synchronization, operate leaderboards and daily puzzles, deliver purchases and rewards, measure and improve features, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud, and serve advertising. Data transmitted between the App and our services is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to server data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you clear the App data or uninstall the App. Cloud game data is retained while needed to provide synchronization, leaderboards, rewards, security, and support. Analytics, advertising, and crash data follow the retention controls of the applicable service provider.

Data deletion requests: You may request deletion of Gate Merge cloud data associated with your Game Center or Google Play Games identity by emailing privacy@pipetgames.com with the subject "Gate Merge Data Deletion" and your platform (iOS or Android) plus your Game Center nickname or Google Play Games gamer name. We may ask for limited verification to locate the correct record. We will delete or anonymize the associated Firebase identity and game data unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or transaction records. Data controlled directly by Apple, Google Play Games, Google Play, Appodeal, or its mediated advertising partners must be managed through the relevant provider.

7. Children's Privacy

Gate Merge is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in the user's country). We do not knowingly collect app-specific names, email addresses, or phone numbers from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us to request deletion.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of information associated with you, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define the use or disclosure of identifiers and activity for personalized advertising as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising. Where required, use Settings → Privacy Choices to opt out or change your choices. You may also limit tracking or reset advertising identifiers through your device and Apple or Google account settings. To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the address below.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
